You need at least a 850W power supply and I recommend getting an SSD.

you will hear this a lot, so before everyone beat me to it:

how much is your budget? (as we could potentially use better parts or jam in more parts or whatever)

£2,000 ish

The PSU will not support 2 GPUs and get 8 instead of 16gb of ram also get the 4670k i5 instead of the i7 4770k

why i5 not i7

You need at least a 850W power supply and I recommend getting an SSD.

got one :)

The i7 and the i5 haswell becomes outdated pretty much the same time you will not be future proof longer with an i7

Well!

if you have money buy i7 if u budget is not that big and still want intel buy i5.

i think i will be future proof with 3930k.

if i would keep my 2600 i still would be future proof for atleast 2 years.

i never in my life had i5 or i3.

i moved from AMD direct to intel i7

Just to clarify, is this a gaming or editing rig?

If this is a gaming rig, you might want to get a i5 4670K and 8GB of RAM, you get to save quite a few bucks and still have the same performance as having i7 and 16GB of RAM.

If this a editing rig, you can keep the i7 4770k and 16GB of RAM.

550W will only be able to support one GTX 780, you will want at least 700 or higher.

Get a Samsung 840 120GB SSD - Cheap and reliable

Not a huge fan of the saber-tooth motherboard but If you like the aesthetics if it you can stick with it.

Just because you have the money to buy a i7 doesn't mean it's worth spending that extra money for the exact same performance. Why not save money and put it into something else?
