I'm pretty new in the RAM area But I think that both kits would run in a dual channel mode, do you have 1 kit of 4 sticks or 2 kits of 2 sticks?

Well, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it should work, but it will run in a dual channel mode since it doesn't support more than dual channel RAM. (Someone please confirm)

Running ram in dual channel mean that you have to have 2 sticks of excatly same memory placed in two slots with same color coding. Nothing more than that. If you populate all 4 slots, it will still be dual channel if the first rule applies. The ram will run at the speed of slowest stick. If they are all 1866MHz, then they will all run at 1600MHz. You will need to enable XMP profile for ram to run at rated speeds. (Kingston Fury is notable difference with automatic XMP)
