Hi guys,

I recently decided to get my monitor game on and go from my single display to 3 in nvidia surround. My original display is the Acer hl26 or something (its the one that Linus did a surround setup with a few years ago) the display is now discontinued so I decided to go for a different monitor that seemed to have similar specs. When it arrived I found it had a matte finish and my old monitor has a glossy finish and I ant decide whether I don't mind the 2 diffent finishes next to each other or not...

For now I only have one of each and I am stuck as to what to do next... Do I say hey with another matte one it will look balanced and fine or do I return it and try and find another one? (This would be difficult as I imported it)

So to sum up: should I get another of the new monitor and go surround with 2 matte and a glossy in the middle or what?!

Thanks - I'm really stressing out with this!

I saw a video of Slick yesterday where he took some steel wool and brushed off the glossy finish. Maybe you could consider doing that?

He's talking about the glossy finish on the display panel itself, not on the casing.
