Task Manager displaying old CPU?

As you can see, Task manager thinks i'm running an Intel Pentium G3220.

OpenHardwareMonitor begs to differ.

Any Ideas why Task Manager says i'm on a pentium?

Have you updated chipset/chip set drivers?  Also, what does it say you are running if you boot into BIOS?

Same happened to me when i was using a vmware emulator and on school it had my pc cpu when there it was I5 2500. All i did was restart the operating system in the vm player, so id say maybe give a try in restarting the Task manager service, which i believe there is one and im pretty sure restarting explorer.exe wont work . O-O didnt even notice im at 501 posts

Update the BIOS driver software and restart the machine.
