Which PSU?

Go to solution Solved by Stuman1,

I'd go with the EVGA, and since you're in Queensland, like me, why don't you just buy it from UMart in Brisbane, which is actually the cheapest by $10 at $139? Or PLE Computers sells them as well and has a good shipping price from Victoria, but is $10 more than Umart, at $149.

Edit: Actually, PCCaseGear does sell them, but for the highest price, $159, here:

So I've just realized that 2 290s will not be covered by a measly 600W alongside a nasty OC on my 4690K..

Going to get a 750W and just need a bit of help choosing which one would be a good option.

I'm really just considering this one because of where I can get it from. PC Case Gear is just my favorite retailer so it'd be nice to get it from here.

EVGA is such a good brand for PSUs, it's just this one in particular can't be bought from PC Case Gear, which is a bit of a kick in the side.

If there are any other good PSUs please feel free to share!

Make sure it's not too much more expensive than the two original choices.

That's a good point. I never tried Umart. I didn't realize how good it was... Thanks!

As above: PCCG does sell both the EVGA 750W G2 and the Silverstone Strider Plus 750W models.

Personally, I'd go with the EVGA one because unlike the Silverstone model, it has all black cables with a sleeve and a 10 year warranty.

Oh yeah... It's $30 more though so It's not worth it.
