Hello dear forum,

I've got this old Dell PSU, I am currently trying to fish out of its prison.

Do you guys think It'll work in a slightly more modern setup? (It was hooked up to a GTX280 and a mobo with DDR2)

I'm planning to hook it up to a GTX580 I salvaged for a friend.

A lot of the stuff is often a foot in the middle of stuff.

If you are happy with running the slight risk if it dying and killing your components I don't see why it shouldn't work in your build.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

It will work no problem but it is an older PSU, Dell does have one of the best OEM PSU's but most do have a Delta or Hipro logo on them. I'm not too sure about this one, I have a dell PSU that's labeled Dslta on it.

It's not bad. Made by Hipro/Chicony, so basically consider it the RM750 of back in the day. It'll power a GTX 580 system perfectly fine.

This particular one is Hipro.
