choosing a power supply

I want to know if I will ever need a higher wattage than 650W.

I'll have an i7 4970k, GTX 980 and two 850 evo ssd's in raid 0 for my OS and another two 7200 hybrid drives for storage.

Do you plan on SLI? Technically I think SLI 980's would work on a good 650w, but I would do 750 personally.

 

And what PSU, wattage isn't everything.
