Windows 8.1 black screen

Hi guys, first time posting here. Yesterday night I was playing some counter strike minding my own business. Everything was running smooth. Once I was done I turned it off and went to bed. I turned my computer on today to try and play some more but after the windows logo stopped spinning it just gave me a black screen. I tried to boot in safe mode but I still get the same black screen. I'm completely lost on what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

8gb ram
