I cant push my processor past 3.7 ghz due to my motherboard having the b75 chipset and it sucks.... so i just bumped up the base clock a little. is this okay? just curious because it passed a stress test with prime 95 and i also tested the rest of my pc using applications like 3dmark, unigine, novabench. if there are any other FREE tests i should try please let me know. if i should turn my pc off NOW and immediately put it back to normal before it explodes that would also be nice to know. thanks in advance.

VRM usually has heatsinks on them to dissipate overclocking voltages due to extreme frequency.

hence the some H boards and all Z boards have heatsinks to best overclocking usages.

but is there a way i could make sure they are not overheating?
