Should I custom cool?

LNW
Go to solution Solved by Fluffinator,

I've never built a custom loop, but I really want to. I have an FX 8320 @ 4.5ghz, sitting comfortably at 41 degrees during P95..but My GTX 760 sometimes hits 75 degrees. Not that I truly need the loop, but I would like the experience, so what do you guys think?

That's pretty lowend stuff to invest in a loop, I would rather buy better computer parts.

That's what I was thinking..thanks for reassuring my thoughts.

Yeah, my loop (which was not very expensive for custom cooling) costs more than you cpu and gpu, so that money is probably better spent improving/ adding to the parts already there...

Custom cooling may sound cool, but it just isnt practical unless you are already at the top end...
