Okay, I'll start this off by saying an apology if this problem was already solved and I just failed to search for it in the forums.

So, last week I just got my new gaming PC and let someone in a shop where I custom built it assemble it (I don't know how everything works inside a PC yet). Upon getting home, the PC turned on and booted up (but I failed to plug the wrong DVI port to the wrong slot, so there was no display. But it's okay now). And it's been like that for the next couple of days. Now, when I got the PC all for myself, this happened. I pressed the power button, LED lights and the fans turned on but it doesn't boot up but the light that indicates the PC is booting doesn't turn on.

For now the only way to make it boot is to turn off the switch at the back of the PC that is included on the PSU then turn it on again, and it works but it doesn't display the logo of my motherboard it just went straight up to the Windows loading logo. I am currently using the computer right now.

It may be a temporary fix, but I am worried that there will be a time that it will not boot up anymore.

Computer Specs:
CPU - Intel i7 4790k

Motherboard - Asus Z97-P

RAM - 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws (2x4GB)

PSU - FSP 750w

GPU - Zotac GTX970

120gb SSD

1TB Seagate HDD

PS: I do not hear any beeping sounds either.

PSS: I don't know if I provided enough details, do ask if there are some things missing.

Hmm, try this:

1. Shut down your PC.

2. Flip off the power supply.

3. Find the battery on your mobo, and carefully remove it.

4. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to drain any power from the pc.

5. Put the battery back into the mobo.

6. Flip the power switch on the power supply back on.

7. Power on your PC.

Also, its PPS not PSS. (PS = Post Script, PPS = Post, Post Script.)

As much as I don't want to open up the PC, but I think I got no choice and try it out.
