I have heard too many stories about memory not working on certain motherboards so i wanted to make sure that i got it right before buying mew memory for my board.

I have an ASRock Extreme6 z77

I really want 16gb of dominator platinum, but will it work, as i have read posts all over the internet saying that certain memory wont work on this mobo.

If it would work, which'd be the best kit to get?

Thanks.

Current Rig : Corsair 330r, ASRock Z77 Extreme6, 3570K, 8gb Crucial Balistix, KFA2 GTX680 White, Corsair AX750, Xonar Essence STX, Beyerdynamic DT770

it should work man. thats one of asrocks top line boards. Ram compatibility with pretty much all motherboards is pretty much near 100% if you look into the max specs and whatnot.

There have been a few boards which dont like certain types of ram but i bet they didnt set timings right or whatnot.

Get the ram :)
