I bought some Hardware for my x99 build.

Two asus strix 980's

Asus x99 s motherboard

16gb Corsair lpx ddr4

Corsair rm 750 psu

Corsair h110i GT cooler

I7 5820k cpu

Samsung 850 evo 250gb SSD

Seagate 2tb hdd

I cant decide which case I should get.

I realy want the h440 because its the best looking case for clean builds in my opinion.

But I read about the airflow being so bad that the system is going to have high temps/overheat

Is that true ?

As long as you put some nice fans in the case the H440 would serve you well

Well, the air that's being exhausted from the GPUs will be stuck and won't push to the bottom exhaust grille/fans since there is that PSU cover.

You could put fans in the top, but since your GPUs will be blowing down the case and not up this wouldn't create a nice flow, it might make it worse possibly.

I have both a X99 Deluxe and a H440 case. Also running two non references cards in SLI. Temps are totally fine. Cards run at 65 under full load and CPU is like 45 or there about.

Please tell me the exact fan setup you used and which fans :)

I have three 120mm Corsair SP fans at the front. One 140mm Corsair AF as back exhaust and on my H100i I have two 120mm Corsair SP fans.

They are all quiet editions.

Ok thx.

Then i have to go with the enthoo luxe and some good silent fans

You can definitely get quieter fans than the ones I got. The Noctua range are highly rated. They are ugly tho.
