I am going to be upgrading soon, and I was wondering if this was a good build.  I mostly game, and I want to get into overclocking.

Graphics Card: GTX 780

Power Supply: Corsair GS700 700w 80+ bronze

Motherboard:  MSI Z87-GD65

RAM: G.Skills Ripjaws 16gb

CPU: Intel i5 4670k

Hard Drive: 1tb Western Digital WD Blue

Cooling:  Corsair h100i with Corsair SP 120 Quiet edition fans

any replies would be helpful.

I see nothing wrong with it. You might want to get a higher rated PSU and maybe some different RAM. RipJaws cost a lot more for no real benefit. Get some Corsair Vengeance 1600 dimms.

As said before ram is over priced for no real benefit, and if you can I would throw an SSD at that,

ok, so I did some revisions and here they are.

Case: CM Storm Scout 2

Hard Drive:  Western Digital WD Black 1tb

Graphics Card:  Msi Gtx 780

Power Supply: Corsair HX850 850w

RAM:  Corsair Vengeance 16gb (1600)

CPU: Intel i5 4670k

Motherboard:  MSI Z87-GD65

Cooling: Cooler Master 212 Hyper EVO

And I have decided that I will not be overclocking, this has been turned into a solely gaming machine.

If you're not going to sli, the psu is overkill. Any decent 600w psu will be plenty.

If you are going to sli, a good 750w will be solid.

You could get a cheaper motherboard. Basically any z87 board will do and won't inhibit your overclocks since any problems you encounter will either be the chip or cooling issues before the motherboard.

You could probably get cheaper ram. Ram is ram and any CL9 1600 ram should suit you.

Keep the WD Caviar blue and add in an ssd. A samung 840 (non pro) 120 or 250GB is recommended.
