Removing USB3 Internal Header plug

Anyone know how to disconnect the USB3 header from the motherboard? It locks inside when you put it in, but now I can't remove it.

It doesn't actually lock, just takes a bit of force. Last time I tried though the plastic part of the motherboard header came with it, so that's unfortunate. It isn't made very well.

It should just slide in and out with a little bit of force.

It has for me on range of H81, B85, H97, Z97, X79 and X99 boards along with the AMD chipsets

Try wiggling it vigorously left and right while pulling it back , it worked on my 24 pin ( i pulled on that one i thought i'll bend the motherboard )

Tried it with some force and it worked, glad I didn't break any pins. Damn son that thing was like locked in there or something. Thanks guys.
