Firefox crashes/hangs randomly -Multiple Adobe Flash seen

Go to solution Solved by techenthused73,

So far I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox and adobe flash.  I removed the Web of Trust add on and removing that seems to have fixed it.  Also speed is back up.

I'm having a recurring issue with Firefox crashing on different webpages.  I check Task Manager and see multiple instances of Adobe Flash listed.  Clearing history/cache  will stop it for a while but it comes back on different pages such as Geforce Forums.

Note: I do not want to have this turn into a browser flame war.

Thanks.

I haven't tried reinstalling Firefox. Does backing up your bookmarks work?

I have malwarebytes and it is the premium version so it scans everyday and keeps itself updated.  Ran scans just the other day and saw nothing.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash in the past even using Revo but this seems to come back eventually.  Clearing cache will stop it for a while.
