Wireless headphones control

I was about to purchase the momentum 2.0 wireless headphones but it comes in 2 different options: Galaxy and Apple

 

I've used an apple wireless headphone before and it only does play and pause on android,

 

What does android version do on apple?

 

I'm not sure what to get because I want to get a samsung in the future but might use apple aswell before that for music and its just frustrating me.
