ok so on steam i just got a foil trading card. Im crafting badges should i sell the card and buy the standard one or keep it.

Without a full set of foils they're useless - so unless you're heavily into trading so you can eventually get a whole foil set (or silly enough to buy them on the market), I would sell it.

 

Foil card sets do craft into a different set of badges as opposed to the normal sets if you're into showing off that kinda thing.
