So I recently built myself a new pc. The computer is fast in all areas except web browsing. It dosent matter what web browser I use, it is still extremely slow. I have tried re-installing the browsers and that did not fix the problem. The slowness happens when I click on a link of any sort. I can open up my web browser and get google and google search something no problem, but as soon as I click on a link I get a spinning circle for a good 10 seconds before the page will open. I know the problem is not my internet connection because all other pc's and devices in my house have no problem with internet speed, I can also game with a good ping no problem. The problem also is worse on some sites more than others. Youtube is by far the worst. The problem on Youtube has actually nothing to do with buffering on the videos, in fact I can watch most videos in 1080p no problem. The problem is when I either click on a new video or click "show comment" to see a replied comment in the comment sections. This takes FOREVER. It takes a good 10 to 30 seconds just to show the comment if it even shows up at all. Refreshing any web page also takes forever. I know I went into an annoying amount of detail into this, but I think there is more to this problem than just your regular slow pc, considering all the normal fixes didn't work (i.e re-installing browsers, rebooting, clearing all cookies, closing all torrents, etc...) My OS is windows 7 64 bit, and my anti virus is Microsoft security essentials. If anyone has any idea of what I can try to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated :D

change your DNS server.

Google DNS: 8.8.8.8

Open DNS: 208.67.222.222

Google DNS secondary 8.8.4.4

Open DNS secondary 208.67.220.220

You can do this 2 ways. Change the DNS Settings on your router config, Or goto network and sharing centre clcik Change adapter settings near the top left. Right click on your active network connection and goto properties. Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then click properties. [this is in the window under the configure button] Click the button that says "Use the following DNS server addresses:" and put the appropriate address' in.
