XSplit not getting past splash

wanted to stream today, opened xsplit, wont get past this

xsplit 2.2 totally crashes on "checking broadcast plugins", i reinstalled and same shit. tried 1.3 and it just stays on the splash, but doesn't crash.

before you yell at me i did google it, the "solutions" on xsplit forums and others didn't help

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons
