It should be able to run at those speeds at a bare minimum, provided that your motherboard, etc. supports it.

 

It's sort of like how a 4670K should be able to run at its advertised speeds, but can be overclocked even further (though you shouldn't expect factory overclocked RAM to overclock as much as a 4670K would).

Ok guyz my question is very simple.If i get some memory with frequency of 2200(and in specification says this 2200(O.C))is means that it will work at that frequency or do i need to oc the cpu in order to hit it?
