Where can I get a VRM?

The second one would be better, but some still say it's not enough. You're probably still better off trying to sell it and step up to the 970A G46. they go for around $60 on ebay.

hello! I have an AMD FX 6350, I recently bought a Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212. I am interested in overclocking, and what is the best overclocking solution. Here are my specs:

Mobo: MSI 970A-G43

CPU: AMD FX 6350

GPU: eVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti

RAM: 2x4GB 1600Mhz

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212

PSU: Corsair CX430M

Thank you! Please ask questions if necessary.

My PC/ CPU: Intel i5-4690k with ColerMaster Hyper Evo 212 / Motherboard: Asus Z97-AR GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti / OS: Windows8.1 / RAM: G.Skill Ares Series 2x4 1600Mhz / Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM Optical Drive: ASUS 24B1ST / Network: TP-Link WN881ND /////////////////////////// If I fail to respond to your questions, please message me! I wouldn't overclock with that board. VRM isn't too strong.

Can you elaborate a bit more please? What kind of purpose do you intend to use the extra power for? What fans do you have installed on the Hyper 212? I don't think there is much headroom for overclocking anyways though with a 430 watt power supply.

Your motherboard's VRMs are not really strong enough for a big overclock. Maybe a few hundred Mhz if you're lucky. Not to mention a 430W PSU might be a limiting factor.

I agree with this guy. I had my 8350 on this board and it gives off a lot of heat when trying to overclock too. I left it at stock and it still ran a little hot. I would say just leave it at the stock "OC Boost" that will auto overclock. If you are gonna stick with that board at least look into putting a VRM heat sink on it.
