WIFI issues

For some reason I can connect to any network in my area even to my phones hotspot but I can not connect to my own wifi and all the other devices are fine and are connected so its not the router. The option does come up to choose my wifi but the option to connect to it isn't therebut the option for every other wifi connection is there I am running windows 8 can someone help please and thank you for helping out.
