So my cpu is a intel core i5 4670k and i have a sapphire r9 280x vapor-x and i was wondering if adding another 280x would decrease the performance of my cpu. Would it work fine or would i see a decrease in performance?

Looks like a great idea, just ensure your PSU can handle that. Also that your mobo supports crossfire (right pcie slots etc)

Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P CPU: AMD FX 8350 RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 8gb (2x4gb@1600Mhz) GPU: Gigabyte R9 280x (factory oc) PSU: Thermaltake SmartSE 730w Case: Corsair 200R
