Windows Surface Type Covers

Hey guys

 

I was going to get a Windows surface pro for Uni for my networking course and wanted to know the compatibility for the type covers, i know they have broungt out quite a few versions of the type cover but i have no idea if you can use the Type cover 2 with the Windows Surface pro 3, there is nothing on google telling you about compatibility issues, i dont know if its me being to wary on cheaping out for a type cover then discovering it doesnt work with my device, i mean they are very expencive for a keyboard so i think you can understand why the caution.

 

Any help would be great.

You can, but it won't be the same shape as the device, so when, you close it, the Type Cover 2 might hang off the SP3 a little
