I'm coming from an awful sharp 24" 1080i TV and I wanna know if the dpi on the 34" is actually that bad if I dit about 3 feet away from the monitor. I know the 29" is obviously going to be sharper but is the 34" just too big for 1080p? I really have my heart set on the 34" but if it will be awful compared to my current monitor I'll get the 29".

Also, are there any 34" 21:9 monitors you'd recommend? Ideally around £400.

Cheers guys!

If you are 3 feet away definitely get the 29". My viewing distance is about 2 feet to 1.5. I had the 29" but it was too big for me, downscaled to the 25" and I am happier for it. DPI over size ever day. Not to mention the money I saved. 34" is massive. I would say that is best for 4' and beyond.
