my kids and wife are going away for a week to visit her cousin. i have 3 games that me and my kid lay on loacal server mode garys mod serious sam 3 and left for dead 2. how do i do a dedcated wan server that only me and my kid can see. all games are through steam. i dont need a voice enabled server as were gonna try out the razr comms app that was used in last weeks web stream.

I think it's different for each game...Garry's mod works on LAN though...
basically the general idea to host a gameserver and make it publically available is by hosting the server on your computer and then forwarding the relative ports in your router
