I have a mid-range laptop, but I also have the issue of stuttering. Do you have the game installed on a hard drive or SSD?

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Do you mind adding a spoiler to your signature? I mean it takes up the space of like 3 posts, for just a 1-line post :P No offense just a suggestion ;)

i got it in the HDD

That may be the issue. I also have that, most noticably when I'm driving fast. It's a problem that can't really be fixed and has been in almost every port/version of the game.

Yeah I was changing it when you said that I didn't mean to make it like that, I don't know how to add spoilers though.

I have SLI 980s and I was playing a little bit this morning during the intro and the first job. My Shadowplay was reporting an FPS between 55-80 (that I noticed).

This is with everything on max.

Laptop: Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2022) // i9 12-900H // 64GB DDR5 // 3080 Ti

Not at 60FPS it won't.  A decent mixture of Ultra and Very High and Highs get you 60fps on an OC'd 970.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

I've got an i5 4570, 8gb ram, Asus GTX 680oc to 1205mhz on core 6500mhz on memory

Pretty much everything on high, a cpl on v-high, v-sync on as it was tearing quite badly.

Fraps is giving me right on 60fps. Doesn't budge from that. No change from city or country

And still looks better than than on my Xbox one.

i5 4690k

8gb ram 7200 rpm hdd

Try to use FXAA instead of MSAA, It may fix it.

I tend to stay around 55-70 fps with a 780 and an i5-3570k using a mix of very high/high settings and MSAA 2x. I also get stutters every so often when i'm in more dense parts of the city. It may be a CPU related problem though, since I reach up to 95% CPU usage when playing and even closing something like chrome when it's running in the background seemed to reduce stutters.

Guys, when you say stutter do you actually mean stutter or do you mean dropping to 20fps for 30 seconds (there abouts) because if its the latter disable and downclocking stuff like cool and quiet and speedstep, the game isnt always detected as runing so cpus from both camps de-clock and performance takes a nose dive.
