Compression Fitting Problem

So I'm trying to undo my i.d 1/2 o.d 3/4 monsoon fittings but the entire thing (barb and tube) is coming out instead of just the compression part how do I fix this or how can I unscrew it thing with this problem in mind?

You over-tightened it or under tightened it at the component.

 

Use cloth to get more grip and use pliers if you have to.
