Upgrading from AMD to Intel

So my current PC build is an amd a10 6790k with an r9 270x. Since I started playing GTA 5 I have noticed that my PC needs and upgrade, I have been lucking into the intel i5 4690k. Is this CPU and GPU combo good enough for GTA and can you reccomended a good motherboard(preferably under £150).

well the CPU is really good, don't know if the r9 270x is enough to play @ultra 60FPS but its a really good upgrade.

The Asus Z97-A is an excellent mobo to pair with the 4690k.

 

I did a build last year that had the same combination and it works perfectly  :)

 

Though I would look into upgrading the graphics card.  Maybe when the r9 300 series arrives.

the games got a few problems at the monent so getting intel wont help especially as were waiting on broadwell and skylake as haswells a year old now, gta5 maxes out a 4670k

you're probably better off selling your card and getting a 290 ORRRR just save £20 and buy a 280x
