HyperX Cloud 2 mic will not work

I just got my cloud two headset today but the mic will not work. When I use Teamspeak it echos the sound the is being played through the speakers in the headset. someone please help.

The mic is unmuted if you go into windows sound program it is not picking up my voice even if i put my mouth right next to it.

It it connected via usb? Are you using usb 2.0?

Yes I tried putting it in a 3.0 port it did not fix anything.

I know we are all here to help and all but when this kind of issue happens such as MIC fails then you should just warranty or RMA it! Unless its something simple but it looks like you have done those

Yes I tried putting it in a 3.0 port it did not fix anything.

Try redownloading the drivers, I had to do that to get my mic to work

Might sound obvious but are you sure that the mice is pushed in all the way?

I know its been some time, but I just got a the Hyper X Cloud II's today and am having this same issue with my microphone. Did you figure out how to fix it? If so, share!

if you got to settings>system>sound>recording>then set the hyperx cloud 2 mic as defult TIP:if mic doesnt show right click then show diesabled devices, aslo check for the mute switch in side of device

THE FIX 1.Go to the sound manager (the little pannel wich is simply call "sound") 2. go to record 3. right clic your headset (hypperX 7.1 Audio) and clic on "disable" *if it's not there, right clic anywhere and clic "show disabled devices" 4. right clic it again and clic on "enable" *if it was already disable well... your problem was stupid
