Could anyone take a look at this build? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HNC8wP

Depends what you'll be using it for.

Kinda everything, but mostly gaming :)

You should have asked on the other thread.

The i7 is not necessary for gaming, very few games will make use of the hyperthreading. go down to a 4690k or 4690.

The Heatsink comes with thermal compond. The 1 or 2 degrees the AS5 will get you is not worth the $7 you spend.

The SSD and HDD are a little unbalanced. A larger HDD is recommended (1TB goes fast these days with 60GB games left and right).

Corsair fans are not recommended due to the performance to noise ratio. Look at Gelid, Noctua or Phanteks instead (for a quieter system).

Get a better power supply for starters. The corsair CX is low end.

This EVGA B2 is much better and is still pretty cheap. It will also let you add a 2nd GTX 980 in the future  - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr

Ok, so I've changed some things: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/73xgmG
I'll be rendering videos, so I'll keep the 4790k
