Pc Blue-screens

Go to solution Solved by ALN118,

Fixed it! 2 of my Ram moduels had problems now i only need to find some cheap ddr2 ram so i dont stuck on 2GB thanks to RossMadness for trying to help me!:)

Hay guys

3 Days ago my PC started to Blue screen (I think it was while i played cs:go and watched youtube with chrome on the second Monitor) so i decided to make a fresh install because pc was full of Crap anyways.

Yesterday everything worked fine.

Today i played some CSGo while watching youtube and it Crashed again with error code : "Critical_process_died" after a restart and few seconds in chrome pc crashed again with errorcode " Bad_pool_caller"

First Problem is i cant find any drivers for "Coprozessor" i think it is the nvidia chipset on my Motherboard. Asus only offers a win7 version of the driver and this one doesn't work on windows 8.1.

I have tried to find the drivers with the Hardware ID but the only one i could find on Nvidias page doesn't  work ( Hardware-ID: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0753&SUBSYS_83321043&REV_A2)

Some more information about my System

Motherboard : Asus Crosshair 2 Formula

CPU: AMD Phenom2 X4 920

GPU: Geforce 9600 GT

PSU: OCZ (something) 700watt

Ram: 4x 2Gb Kingston DDR2

Temps. are decent  (stock cooler FTW)

No overclocks

Running Win 8.1

I Hope i didn't miss anything and my Grammar isn't  too bad ! :D

Maybe someone can help me with my problem

Edit: Just had another Crash while Playing CSGO this time with the error "Bad_pool_header"

So today i tried to download the chipset driver on nvidias website found my chipset and installed the win7/vista version of the driver. System installed the Drivers but the Device-manager still shows it under unknown device. Had to more crashes both while using chrome.

If you have any idea what could help please post it ! PC needs to work don't have money for a new one :D

First off, download BlueScreenView from nirsoft and use it to read the BSOD dump files (it should automatically find them). This will tell you the error code again and even list the file that caused the crash.

Also, have you tried installing an older version of the driver? If the driver was updated and then the crashes began, the new version may be unstable on your system. You can also try running the driver installer with the compatibility options turned on. (Right click on the install file, choose properties, then compatibility, then select Win 7 from the drop down menu.)

Hope someone can read something out of it..

The latest driver for my chipset is from 2011 so i dont think a older driver would fix it because it worked for 4 years...

Would it be usefull if i upload the .dmp files? If so tell me !
