Hey. I was thinking of buying a define r5 for my new system and thought i'd get an AIO kit for my cpu. So i was thinking of keeping the moduvents on top closed and get the 240 rad at the front while removing the HDD cages. But what i cant seem to find is wether i can place a single hdd anywhere else in the case as i cant afford to get enough ssd storage to use alone. Anyone know anythin? Also would it be a good idea to get the rad in the front or will it kinda starve for air?

1.) You can mount the HDD cage beside the PSU, though this might squish your PSU cabling.

Here's a pic from TechPowerUp:

2.) If that squishes your PSU cabling too much, you could look into keeping the optical drive bay in the case, and grab a Dual 5.25" to triple 3.5" bay converter/adapter.

3.) You could get some 2.5" HDDs and mount them behind the motherboard, so far the consensus on this seems to be that it would be safe, and temps wouldn't be awful.

Can't speak to having it on the front, I've got mine on the top and am fine with it, others would have a better answer for you.
