Hi everyone.

I'm new to the forums and custom PC building all together. I've spent about the last week doing research, watching Linus' videos and looking at different parts on pcpartpicker. I have used laptops over the past years for gaming and school work but now that I am done school, I want to spend a bit of extra cash on a sexy new system.
I live in southern Ontario, Canada. Budget is between $2000 - $2500 but any extra money saved is great. The rig will be used for gaming, work (Software Development) and personal coding projects (Android Studio, Visual Studio 2013, SQL Server and possible adobe programs in the future).

While I will likely not be able to buy all the parts until around the end of the year. This is the set up that I like the most so far.

I already have a mouse and mousepad so I have left those out. Everything else is open to suggestion and/or changes.

I went for a black/blue build so I may get into LED lighting and custom water cooling in the future. I am still skeptical on the tower, as it has a red LED light on the back but it can easily be turned off. I may even change the LED in it to blue or swap out the fan entirely if possible.

Thank you in advance and I hope to hear some great suggestions  :) .

Well, the HDD... you could switch it out for a Barracuda 2TB and get it for about the same price.

Beyond that it looks pretty good.

The projects never end in my line of work.

An extra TB for only $30 is a much better idea. Thanks for the quick reply.

Not a problem :) We're (for the most part) on top of things around here :D

swap that SSD with a Samsung 850 pro/evo and it'll be a much better build, also up to you u can get a 2tb sea gate driver for a little more but WD is much more reliable so. @TSeaborn
