First off, I apologize if this would fit better in the troubleshooting section, but I figure this is the place to go.

Basically, I got a new monitor for my birthday. I now have a BenQ XL2420Z, a 1080p monitor. The monitor I used before this was an Asus VS208, which was 900p. I've got these both hooked up to my 970 and it's pretty fun to look at. Anyhow, I'm planning on using the XL2420Z for gaming and the 900p for controlling Spotify (K70 multimedia controls are great but by skipping I usually get an ad) and other things like thats. I got a few questions. I haven't tried any games yet, but are there any settings I need to tweak to make it so I can drag my cursor across both monitors normally but keep my cursor locked to my XL2420Z during gaming? Also, will using the VS208 casually on the 970 have a noticable impact on gaming? If so, would there be a problem using integrated graphics instead? Thanks in advance.

Your cursor should drag across fine

Your cursor will not leave your game unless your sensitvity is way too high (like 8200 dpi)

It won't affect gaming performance

Sweet, thanks for the short, helpful answer!
