Need help with upgrade

Go to solution Solved by TheDev,

gtx 750ti but if you can find a 760 go for that

Hello, thanks for looking at my thread. I have a 8 month old PC now, prebuilt by Microcenter. Currently, it has a R7-250 gpu along with my AMD A10-7850K, running dual graphics. Here is the link to the specs. So far, the pc runs pretty well, but I have been thinking about upgrading the graphics card to something better. I am a newer member of the PC community, and I feel that I could use a bit of help picking an upgrade for the future. Any suggestions? (Please try to keep price at most $150). Thanks.

Should I just completely abandon the whole dual graphics thing with my APU?

Oh god, you paid 680 for an A10 and a R7 250?

Yes, you should. If I were you, I'd get a i5-4440, h81 board and a nicer card, 960 or 970

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

I mean, if I am going to pay so much in upgrades, wouldn't I be better off just scrapping the current computer and building a new one?

You'd be reusing parts from the old build, so it'd still be less
