Hello,

I am working with audio for my job and I am searching for some system that I need.

I have 7 analog speakers and one subwoofer connected to an amplifier!

I connect the amplifier to a 7.1 dolby audio port on my pc and my idea was based on how movies pass from left to right through the amps (moving cars,...)

So I have a whole bunch of music and I need to be able to choose on which speaker they run...

I know normally people use such devices:

But I thought that it must be available to do in software, like they use in the movies.

To be clear: I need to be able to select on which speaker the music will play, and this thorugh the use of software!

It's rather complicated to explain why I need this, but I really need a solution!

Thanks a lot!

If you need to do the change in the fly i've no idea how to do it, but if you just choose once and they don't change you can put the different music on the same 8 channels audio file and play that.

I really would need something like an alternative driver or a driver edit to be able to switch it on the fly.

Or I would need to make audio 7 audio files: 1 to every speaker, but I thought there might be something simpler...

It's definitely possible, the software just hasn't been written. Closest solution would be multiple receivers hooked up to the computer and then switch to whichever you need in windows.
