Hey Guys,

So here is my build ATM

CPU: AMD FX 4130

MOBO: Gigabyte 990 FXA UD3

RAM: GoodRam 2x4 GB @ 1333 MHz

GPU: MSI GTX 770

PSU: Bequiet 600W 80+ Bronze

Case: Zalman z11 Plus

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

OS: Windows 7 & 8

So here is the issue, the PC sometimes has boot issues after the Windows Update (This is Windows 7) but it keeps on doing it even If I tell it not to, the PC will then boot and stop sending signal to the Monitor. I fix this issue by going into the Emergency Mode and bring back an older copy of the system. Yesterday I was downloading something with Utorrent (It was a big file and they had a Utorrent option so I decided to download this way, and I made it shutdown after download finished.) After coming home the PC would not boot, so I decided to attempt to fix this issue by bring back an older image but it still would not boot. I decided to go through all the setting and it still won't boot to Windows 7, it boots but then doesn't send signal to the monitor. The biggest problem is that Windows 8.1 boots fine, it's just Windows 7. Anyone know a fix, or have an idea on how to try and fix this? Any help would be great!

emergency mode? you mean safe mode?

get some different video drivers and see if that helps or if theres a video driver selected in the windows updates manually deselect it.  derp didnt read

if you have windows 8 then the windows 7 entry in the boot loader does not work since they both show up in the same boot loader im guessing you installed them on the same hard drive without separate partions.

does the windows 7 boot with safe mode or boot at all?  do you get the windows 7 splash load screen animation?

My Windows 7 is not in English, so maybe safe mode? i guess. Same HDD but a different partition. This issue occured before installing Windows 8 and I have Windows 8 for months. I get the splash screen and that's it, then it is gone.

if you can boot it into safe mode unistall the nvidia drivers and see if the generic adapter driver picks up the video output
