RAM: HyperX fury ddr3 8gb 1600mhz

PSU: Corsair RM 850

Cpu cooler: h60 single 120mm rad.

My issue is that i get 90 degrees som times 100, I use realtemp and Pcwizard. But when i reboot and go in to the bios it says 40 degrees. And i go out of the bios and hop in to windows, i check again and then it says 20- 30 degrees. On the both of the programs. Does some one have the same issue as me? In case please reply. This problem only accures when i boot it up straight away and hop in to windows.

Sorry for my bad english, i am from norway.

Run a program called AIDA64's stress test and send back the results for voltage. Also make sure that your cooler is mounted properly and that you are using thermal compound between the CPU and the waterblock.

Try to reseat the cooler with new thermal paste (prøv og bytte kjølepastaen og settpå kjøleren på nytt, husk kun litt kjølepasta på størrelse med ett ris korn midt på cpu og fest kjøleren stramt)

it happens to me too i have a MSI GE 60 2PE Apache Pro-003

that happens when i am using normally the temps goes up to 96C so i disabled the turbo boost option by

1-going to power option in setting

2-and then chose the power option that you are using ( balanced mode or high performance mode )

3-click on the battery icon on the dock

4-click more power option ( it will open up the power option setting )

5-look for the power setting you would like to disable turbo boost

6-click on change plan settings

7-click on change advance power setting

8-scroll down until processor power management

9-open minimum processor state

10- edit plugged it value by clicking on the little arrow and set it on 99% (originally it was on 100%)

11-open maximum processor state

12- change on battery value to 99% (originally was on 100%)

13- change plugged in to 99% (originally was on 100%)

14- and then click OK.

now you are done, you can do it with all power setting but i recommend you to do it on high performance mode, so that will keep your cpu under 70C.

for the moment i haved like this until my order if thermal past arrive and then i can change the thermal paste, after changing the thermal past and your result is positive so you can reverse those step and change value back to 100% to enable turbo boost.

so that is my way of keeping my laptop under 80C

hope this will helps you !

good luck !!!
