What the title says. It just freezes at random spots during startup, sometimes it lets me even login, other times it doesn't get past the bios splash screen. Even If I go into bios settings it freezes randomly. I was using the quickfire pro which is known to cause this so I went back to my old keyboard and still the same exact thing. When it did let me login I got the latest bios update and everything. I did have to RMA my motherboard and just got it back today, but it's a brand new mobo so they can't be the issue. The only thing I can think of is possibly a ram issue or hdd issue. This is extremely urgent because I need my computer to do my school work, any help/advice would be appreciated.

try booting the computer with only one stick of ram assuming you have two sticks.

I do have two sticks. Just tried that with each stick and with each stick it wouldn't boot, but boots with both sticks in with the problems still. I think it's the ram, but I don't have money to throw around on a educated guess. I'm going to have to take it to someone just to be on the safe side.

Can you boot into safe mode at all? Most likely a ram problem if you've already gotten your mobo rma'd.  Try booting up with gpu, sound card etc. removed in case there is a weird issue with one of them.  Good luck!
