Skyrim Modding Question

I was watching Gopher's "Beginners Guide To Modding Skyrim" and in the first part. he says that if Steam and Skyrim are on the C Drive then it would make the process more difficult because you would have to run NMM As administrator 

 

Can anyone comment on whether that is still the case or not 

The C Drive is my SSD which is why Skyrim would preferably go there

As long as your the administrator on your computer your fine

I run nmm as admin, skse needs to be admin to run right.

Skyrim load times aren't very long so it'd be fine on a hard drive. I think as long as you don't install it inside of ProgramData you'll be fine. Try Skyrim/NMM in a folder like Documents\Skyrim

Just keep Skyrim and NMM out of program files and you'll be good.
