So in my rig I currently have a GTX 660. I am not sure what to do as the card isnt getting any newer and is struggling to keep up with newer games so I have a question, should I get another GTX 660 for SLI or buy a newer version like the GTX 960? The only problem with getting a 960 would be I would have a spare 660 laying around because I just bought a 750ti for my other rig so I dont want to have a perfectly good GPU gathering dust, and I dont want to get butt raped by my local second hand electronics shop over the price of selling it.

Any advice would be appreciated

If you are ready for the potential sli problems and extra heat, i'd go for it just for the lol's.

Get a 960 since even in great condition the 660 is 3 years old, out of warranty(most likely), uses more power and you would get 100$ if you're very lucky.

Im not bothered about power consumption as I dont pay the power bills and they only need 1 6pin so it could be worse, I would get a blower card to match my current 660 so the rest of my PC wouldn't get too hot. My 660 is still in warranty as I got it late 2013 and the fact its only worth about £60 just makes me not see the point. Also how could two 660s perform worse than one 960? Doesnt make any sense to me.
