Help with RAM choice

So I thought there were some issues with my RAM so I bought new ones. It's possible that there isn't anything wrong with the sticks (I'm too tired of fking around with my comp to test it this weekend), in which case there are 3 possible options for me (full info in poll).

  1. Use the new sticks
  2. Return the new sticks, use the old
  3. Use both pairs.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

It depends if the higher frequency RAM would be advantageous to what you are doing or if you just want MOAR

It depends if the higher frequency RAM would be advantageous to what you are doing or if you just want MOAR so if your gaming maybe the higher frequency RAM might be better

My main "intensive" use of my computer is gaming. However I'm inefficient with my resources (guess that's what happens when you have 16gb to play with normally?) so I'll have like 20 chrome tabs open and then play a game. :P

I'd say just use the old and return the new, but it kinda depends on whether the old set is messed up or not, which would require testing the memory for a few-to-several hours.

This poll is on the assumption the old memory is fine.
