Just as the title says. I'm considering a new build which generally upgrades somethings that I couldn't afford to "splurge" on before. Although I found myself putting in parts that are almost equivalent to the ones I have now (like a 700W power supply, 12GB of RAM) Which parts are ok to reuse?

Technically speaking,. any part that still works properly and is compatible with your build can be reused.  Since we don't know what you're using right now, nor what you plan to upgrade, it's hard to know exactly what you'd "want" to reuse.

Case: HAF XBCPU: 4690kCPU Cooler: NH D15Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming 7 | RAM: Hyper X FuryVideo Card: G1 Gaming 970SSD: 850 EVO |  PSU: Supernova 550 G2 |

yea sorry about that, I'm still deciding on what I want, but I figured If I could keep some prats I could build around it and not have to worry about them.

this is what I have I have planned.

I would say keep the PSU and the RAM.

Kinda off topic, but why in the world are you using a reference cooler for your GPU?

I don't plan on over-clocking my GPU so the potential temps don't worry me.

I don't overclock my GPU either, but non-reference cards are quieter, while offering higher clock speeds. That translates to better performance.

And they cost a hell of a lot less.

The card that I have listed wasn't the best choice obviously

this offers clock speeds just as good at a cheaper price.
