Logitech G700 weird input lag...

JoHo

For 5 days now, my Logitech G700 gaming mouse does not work normally anymore. It feels like there's a slight but very recognizable and annoying delay between the movement and the action on-screen. I tried everything: Removed the Logitech Gaming Software, reinstalled it, installed new graphics card drivers, looked deeply into the gaming software to tweak some settings and so on. I noticed that when I turn off the Acceleration in the app as well as in the windows settings, the delay and acceleration actually gets way WORSE! So I'm very confused by where the problem might be... Did anyone of you have similar problems or knows how to fix this?

Is this when being used wirelessly or when attached via the USB cable? My G700 turns very crappy when I unplug the cable so I.... never unplug it  :(

Thanks for the reply!  :)

Unfortunately I see no difference at all when I plug the cable in or not. It's crappy all the time...

It sounds like a broken mouse to me. Can you send it back to wherever your bought it from and get your money back?

The mouse is actually 2 years old, so no warranty for me. I borrowed a Logitech G502 Proteus Core from a buddy and noticed that the mouse has exactly the same lag as the G700... So I'm very confused as to what kind of software is triggering this problem...

Have you tried removing all other USB devices and just leaving the dongle plugged in? My G700 only lags wirelessly on my desktop (where I have a lot of usb devices connected) but on my laptop where I only connect the mouse it works normally.

I know it sounds dumb and overkill but maybe reinstall Windows? Or  perhaps try something like Ubuntu on a persistent flash drive?
