My current build is pretty solid for me right now but I wanted to upgrade and start overclocking a bit, plus I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to start modding so I wanted to figure some stuff out for the mod/upgrade.
Here are my current specs (things I'll be replacing are going to be sold 2nd hand so my budget won't be completely set in stone)
Mobo: Gigabyte Z87-DS3H (bought a cheapo board)
CPU: 4670K stock clocked
Current cooler: Scythe Ninja 3
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB
PSU: FSP Group Hexa 700W
Memory: 2X4GB HyperX Beast T3 2400Mhz clocked @1600Mhz
Case: NZXT Phantom 410

The idea was an Alan Wake themed mod with some sort of light versus darkness theme, thought about the yellow to try and do something that also involves the torch from the game because I think a straight line would look pretty bad as a border between the white and black.

Wanted to add a PSU shroud to the Phantom 410 that'll also have a couple slots on the top to mount 2 SSDs (Currently have an 840 EVO 120GB and want to add a 850 EVO 500GB for games), and also enlarge the window so that it'll look cooler and fit the torch sticker
Went to sketch the idea on a piece of paper and that's how it went with my very limited Photoshop skills, so I'm open for ideas in general if you have anything in particular with the theme.

So my current plans are:
Mobo: get a white/black board (currently have my eyes on the MSI Z97S SLI Krait edition)
Mem: get white/black ram, possibly 2 or 4 sticks of either Klevv Genuine (looks pretty cool in my opinion) 8GB or HyperX Fury (although getting the Genuine is going to be 1.5 times the price of the Fury)
Cooling: Planning on trying a custom loop, current plans are a 5.25" dual bay res/pump from EK (EK-DBAY D5 PWM (incl. pump)), whilst keeping my 4670K rather than upgrading it to save costs and staying with the LGA1150 chipset for the Krait board and getting something like the Supremacy Evo White Edition for the CPU. Reasons for the 5.25" bay res are just because I'm thinking of removing the front door and placing it there with a pump/fan controller like the NZXT Sentry 3, so that could look pretty neat.
PSU: not entirely sure yet, probably going to get a 600-800 modular PSU second hand and get black/white cables somehow.
GPU: when everything else is done I'll upgrade to a top tier Nvidia gpu probably, either the 980 or Titan X or something and watercool that also

What I'm also thinking is - hold off on the mobo upgrade and wait for Skylake sometime this year (since I'm not going to be using the computer a lot in the near future anyways). Any thoughts about this also?
How do you like the idea and appearance in general as well? Thanks :D
