Cooler Master Hyper T4 Preformance

Go to solution Solved by CharlieR1,

Any cpu that is at 60 degree at idle doesn't seem right at all.

You should definitely remount it and reapply the thermal compound.

I would definitely try remounting the CPU using an "x" pattern when applying the thermal paste.

Thanks guys! Will try that.

Hello,

I have recently been wondering if I did something wrong with applying my thermal paste/mounting the cooler, as my temps are unexpectedly high! My CPU is usually 60 degrees Celsius at idle.

Can anyone that has the Rebel T4 comment their Case, Fans, CPU Model, Other Components in Case, and Temps?

I have the:

-NZXT H440 with stock fan setup.

-PNY GTX 750ti sitting at around 29 degrees Celsius.

-AMD A8 6500 @3.5gHz

Thanks!
