Matte vs Glossy

Hi guys! I need some help in buying either a matte display or a glossy display. I have a window directly in front of my monitor and it can get pretty bright at times as I live in a tropical country. I do currently own a Matte display and what I can say is that the colors on it still look pretty good. My main question here is that how better will the colors look on a glossy display and would you recommend it considering my situation.

Get the matte. The glossy will give you bad glare from the window or bright lights.

You want a matte IPS screen.

 

A matter TN does look pretty horrible and very dark by itself.

And no, i wouldnt get glossy if i were you... so it sounds like.

Get the matte. The glossy will give you bad glare from the window or bright lights.
