Problem with your spec is it cannot support SLI. So you have a choice: either up the budget to allow for SLI (I wouldn't recommend the 960 at all, I'd suggest a 970), or go with AMD graphics. If you want Nvidia rather than AMD, you need an SLI capable mobo and then get a 970, but that brings the price up to $1650ish. If you can up the budget to do that, that's better.

What 970 would you be talking about though?

I just want a decent graphics card witching my pricerange, however if you think it's absolutely worth it I can go up to $1700

You can save some cash by skipping the monitor and using a HDMI TV as your monitor, but that should be a stop-gap measure. If you commit to the GTX 970, then your eventual aim should be to get a high end gaming monitor that supports G-Sync. From what I hear it's the gaming experience par excellénce. If the TV option isn't there, then the monitor in the spec can be your stop-gap on your way to a decent gaming monitor, and using the cheaper one as a secondary.

If you have air conditioning in your house, then you could also simply go with an R9 290 setup which is a bit cheaper to facilitate.

If this is going to be a pure gaming setup, then you can choose as you will. The Nvidia option is going to be more frugal with the power, generate less heat, but more expensive. The R9 290 setup is the converse; less power efficient and hotter, but cheaper.

The mMSI Z97 is out of stock online and dosent seem to be stocked in any other stores

Also I don't have airconditioning :(

I edited the post. It's now a different SLI capable board, one that's in stock.  :)

EDIT- Also changed the monitor, that was also out of stock. Everything else in the list seems to be in stock.

No aircon you say, then I say go Nvidia. Australia can get as hot as Vulcan's sulfurous dick during the summer, not the sort of place you want to keep a pet R9 290. Just imagining a pair of R9 290's in crossfire in the middle of an Australian summer.....could drive a chap into depression.
